Judging from the seats, they must be in the car. It seems like the kids forgot to buckle up. This actually came from a car ride I went in with my cousin and my grandparents. We stopped at McDonald's to get a couple drinks. I wanted Sprite, and my cousin wanted root beer. When we got them, we got the right ones. Then I thought, "Hey, what if she gave the cups to the wrong people?" That's when this strip came into mind. Luckily, I remembered it when I got home, so I wrote it down in my sketchbook. Yet, for some reason, in panel 1, the one that Moe's mom gave to Moe is not shaded, and the one that she gave to Julia is, giving the impression that they have the right drinks...
