Triple Post

Me and Moe are looking at the readers in the last panel.
I am this exact same way. I also did some sketches of the destruction of the pencil. Here's the entire page (the 7-30 shows the date I will be using the joke):
I got the ideas of using nouns and verbs as sound effects from another webcomic.
It took me quite a while to figure out what would prompt Julia to toss that teddy bear in the trash. Also, it was originally filling it with glue, but I thought it would be funnier to make it tomato sauce.

Right Back At You Again!

The title is a repeated title of Right Back At You!

This is the first time I've used brown in my strips since Sunday!

Peter Pan Needs to Teach Bob

Charlie's Secret Friends was one of the original ideas I had when I figured I wanted to use a lot of green, blue, and purple this week.

7/25/12

Higher and Higher

This was/is my last usage of my twistable blue colored pencil (because it ran out).

There's only about a week left to vote on our poll!

Also, you are still free to suggest 5-word strip ideas if you haven't already!

That'll Be $7.50

I realized that I use a lot of browns, reds, oranges, and yellows in the strip, but very few greens, blues, and purples. I made these strips to account for that relative lack of cool colors.

It's Banana Beak Again!

We're getting pretty close to our 2000th post! I can't wait!

Notice the yellow glow around the trident and Michelle?

Flashback Comparison #7

This Flashback Comparison is a little long, so bear with me. It's a brand-new story, not relating to the previous one in any way.
Side note: These stories and strips are non-canon; Moe does not actually own a rocket ship. He wants one, though.

I thought it would be a smart idea to put Moe and Julia in separate beds. Also, Moe no longer looks like he swallowed a box of cereal (or...maybe just the box) in the second panel, does he? The pink sky in the fourth panel is not a reference to MagiMiss Julia making the sky pink. In this case, it's just a sunrise.
As you can see, the objects Moe is on are now much closer to actual size; and he has a spacesuit on, so he can breathe. The objects floating in the sky in the first panel are Charon (due to the size) and one of Pluto's other moons. (News Flash: Pluto's FIFTH moon, S/2012 134340 1, or "P5," was recently discovered!) And that thing behind Moe in the "original" second panel is supposed to be a passage to the exhaust, or whatever it's called on a rocket.
I decided to finally reveal here that Julia does have a learner's permit. Yes, Julia was 18 when I started, but I changed it to 14 (now 15) when she became Moe's sister.
Wait, does Moe need to be rescued every time he goes in his spaceship?

More Flashback Comparisons to come! Stay tuned!

Merlin's Tackling Heidi Again

Merlin apparently tackles Heidi quite often.

Also, Merlin's ears were originally too long in the last panel, so I had to white them out and shorten them.

QUIT THE DOUBLE POSTS ALREADY!!

I am definitely running for President again this year.

Thidwick's Got An Afro!

Finally, we get to see the Browns' dad!

HISS!!

Big & Obvious Tag

The original punchline was "Sounds like a personal problem to me!" But I changed it to this because I thought it seemed funnier.

7/7/12

You Need To Warn Me About This Ahead Of Time, Moe!

...or at least change your statement to "think about doing it after this conversation!"

Wait, If I'm Posting The Strip, Won't I Have Already Known This Would Happen?

I think this strip is supposed to take place as I'm posting it.

What Moe means is, after he says the thing in the second panel, he probably realized that what I usually do is now posting them late or extremely last-minute. So what he means by "used to usually do" is post them constantly on time with Scheduled Posts.

Riley's Profile

I figured that I wanted to zoom in on the last panel, but I didn't want my usual head shape. So for closeups of me from now on, we'll see a more realistic outline. I've only done something close to this once before (with a crudely drawn nose on my usual head shape).

But I actually did think of a 2000th post celebration prior to this strip.

Picky Indeed!

The title is a repeated title of Oh, No, Indeed!; Yikes, Indeed!; Freaky Indeed!; and Unfair Indeed!
