Seventeen... Sixteen... Fifteen... Fourteen... Thirteen... Twelve... Eleven...

Notice that one of the twins is wearing short sleeves and the other long sleeves? I mentioned considering making this their permanent attire in a recent strip.

12/30/12

It's Almost Upgrade Time

I tried to find a good one, but I couldn't find a variation on the shading that looked right on me.

12/29/12

If We Could All Do Something Like That...

Since the twin under the blanket doesn't have a brand-new arm, I figured she wouldn't be very interested in moving it around or showing it off, so she's wearing long sleeves. I've actually considered making this part of their permanent attire.

12/28/12

So...They Know Now

They're talking about this strip, if you can't remember.

Since people, when they get new/replacement limbs/body parts, they appear to want to move them around as much as they can, I made Heidi move her arms around a bit more than she normally would have. I also decided to have her wear short sleeves, as though she's showing her new arm off.

Triply Striply

The error message is a line from Portal 2.

12/20/12

What About Finding the Golden Twinkie?

As I mentioned in a previous post, I think I've found one webcomic host I think I'm going to switch IWMA to.

12/19/12

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The title is an extreme repeated title of Nooo!

12/18/12

Apocalypse-Proofing Time!

I really actually have no idea if garlic is supposed to ward off zombies. That's why I added Julia's line "Garlic?"

12/17/12

In A Pre-Apocalyptic World...

I've actually started seriously considering moving IWMA to its own domain, as well as a new host (such as SmackJeeves).

12/14/12

A Bit Late

Saturday's strip may also be a bit late.

12/12/12

Last Time In Almost 90 Years

There's really not much to say about this strip...

12/11/12

Is That The Same Pink Pony Julia Saw In Her Dream?

In case anyone's wondering, Moe just cut a hole in the front of his present with a small utility knife.

12/10/12

That's a Heavy Present

Wow, I...didn't really realize that 17 kilograms was actually almost 37.5 pounds when I did this strip...maybe I should've stuck with "17 pounds" like in the original sketch.

12/9/12

*Sigh* Double Posting Again

I came up with these when we bought OUR Christmas tree yesterday. For some reason, "price" was the last one to be added to the list.

Also, I wonder where Lily is in today's strip?

12/6/12

Who Let The Grinch In?

I always seem to do that red jagged talk-bubble thing whenever someone's talking angrily (even jokingly, as here).

12/5/12

Is That A Christmas CD?

This happened to me just last week.

12/4/12

Art Imitates Life

This happened to me not too long ago. All of these objects broke within a WEEK's time span. Although, not quite in this order. My order was actually whiteboard (which actually wasn't a whiteboard), stereo, sweat pants, pen.

Eight Beat Panels In One Strip...

I figured this may also work in a daily strip, due to the HEAVY amount of beat panels, but I later reasoned that making it a Sunday made it funnier, as it displayed the length of the staring contest better. Also, I think Lily's hair got longer near the end of the second row.

12/1/12

Oh, Nice...

11/30/12

Ah, The Perils Of Cartoon Anatomy...

For those who weren't aware, Movember is Moustache (or Mustache) November, which has something to do with prostate cancer awareness.

Originally I was planning on doing this strip much earlier, although I later realized it would work best as an ending to the month, and moved it to today.

11/29/12

The Day the Trash Can Came to Life

The title of this post (and, indeed, this strip itself) came from a story I wrote when I was much younger called "The Garbage Can That Came To Life."

11/26/12

That Can Be Interpreted In COMPLETELY The Wrong Way...

Oh, wait, that was her intention!

11/24/12

Pizza Time

This strip was originally a "cheese snack," and a mouse grabbed a HUGE hunk of cheese (i.e. bigger than a human), and someone else said Julia's line. I changed it to this because...well, the original idea was actually made by my brother in his own family comic (which can't be found anywhere public, unfortunately).

11/23/12

Julia Finally Dreamt That

The reason I say "finally" in the title is because, in an earlier strip, Julia said that not even her dreams would let her become President of IWMA.

11/22/12

The Final Catch Up

Yes, Charlie has a mustache. It's for Movember (Moustache November), for prostate cancer awareness.
I actually was considering running for President again–then I could repeal that Amendment Moe made that the President can bug me whenever I do something minutely incorrect.
I don't think I drew the podium right in the last panel...
Yay, we're back on track!

11/20/12

Catch Up Part Seven

When I first drew this, I was going to have Irene sticking her head in from the side. But almost immediately after I drew that, I realized that since they're underwater, she COULD be hanging upside down. I almost never get to do that, so I decided to seize that opportunity.
I've never seen one of my characters appear so calm around an eraser. (I haven't done eraser jokes for a while, either.)
 Yay for the Muppets!
Not quite sure if I was able to digitally capture the transgreen effect...

The Election Week strips will appear sometime tomorrow.
