Splart!

I'm posting a little early today.
My dad came up with this strip, eating at Arctic Circle.

Blogger Glitch Fixed!

Because of a Blogger image uploading glitch, we are displaying three strips today.

9/29/07

Dead Vampire?

Oof...that will squash his stomach.
Don't say a word about the floating circle above Moe's head in panel 10...tracing the last version of this strip, I forgot that there wasn't any dialogue, so I put that up, thinking that Moe would be thinking the punchline, but I also forgot to white it out.

Another Dead Vampire?

You don't even want me to become one. Does this mean he's about to bite Dad?
I just traced the earlier version of the strip. So, the strip is basically the same as this one, except different colors and a different punch line. And Moe's tongue isn't hanging out.

Did He Just Faint?

Hey, the sink on the right is the one that exploded! I like to do this (Moe, not dad) sometimes. Whoops, Moe has a tongue in panel 7 and I didn't want to put that in here. See, in all the other panels you can't see Moe's tongue. Blah blah blah. "Tongue is one of the very few words I have trouble spelling, despite that Blogger says "Thidwick's" is a misspelled word.

Hair-Raising?

I actually made this joke.

Um, How Do You Give Time a Speeding Ticket?

Yes, they did take their vacation to P.D.o.G.U. three months ago. I actually did this to my dad a month after our vacation I mentioned early in June.

What was the silliest of dad's silly moments?

So, it looks like the "dessert" incident (37%), which had 3 votes, is the most popular Dad Silliness Item!

By the way, I switched to a pie chart for better understanding.

8/10/07

I've Never Heard of That Phrase!

Okay, I have GOT to add this silliness to my poll.

Speaking of my poll, I'm going to have to change the poll closing time to 2 weeks from now. Changing it only one time each month seemed to be too time-consuming. Keep voting! Your results keep IWMA running!

Update, about a minute later, I just realized I can't add this to my poll, but I can change the closing. So I will in about a minute.

8/9/07

Gross Cookie?

This came from my brother. I pretended like I had the "only good cookie" that my mom made. I'm not exactly sure if Dad said "Sam-I-Am" in the real joke. Lots of parts from the real joke were cut out between panels 1 and 2 to fit the panels.

8/6/07

Too Much Spaghetti?

I like this strip. But during our vacation, I didn't really do it...one of my brothers did. This was only one of the responses. I can't remember the other fake questions. By the way, I've noticed that only three people have voted on my poll! For easier voting, I'm going to see if I can add links into the options. If not...I'll just link in my results.

I Like Those Sound Effects!

Oopsie, the bottom part of Dad's hand isn't moving. What is Moe leaning against?

The Sneezy Sneezer, Part II

Here's another instance of Moe fainting. Speaking of running gags, we haven't seen inanimate objects coming to life recently. At least, that's what it feels like...the last time was on June 24, 2007. So, the W kinda gives it away...if not, what do you think it will be? Maybe it will be "Iw! Moe is Gross!" But probably not. I spell it "Eww". So, remember the sneezy sneezer gag near the end of 2006? This is like Part 2, as shown in the headline. Like all silliness, this came from my dad. The long line of long-lost posts will end this week. But here, they're only semi-long lost. Because these other ones I did when I started it (2003 or 2004), but these ones will be from early 2005. Whew! I think that's enough.

7/5/07

Big Space

Man, this week is full of fourth wall breaks!
How do you think he got back in the panel?

7/3/07

I'm Wanted!

Hey, Julia's pose is kind of like her new pose in Introducing Julia, isn't it? We've never seen their answering machine before! Mom probably got Julia to call Moe because she's probably the loudest in the strip! Do YOU think she's the loudest in the strip? And it almost looks like Moe is floating! I guess I drew him a little too high.

4/27/07

He Draws Fast!

Whoa. He made a mark in the air! Either that or the pencil drew on the panel. (Or both...)

4/25/07

Made by Sharker-Price.

Good grief, tomorrow's post is number 300!!! I'll have to celebrate by...getting 300 of...something...I gotta think quick...or talk to that smart Moe. Oh well, here we go.
Who's up there?
Do you really think it is becoming a running gag? Do you know what Moe's playing with?
Hello, Mister. I see you have a blanket. I, too, have a blanket, but I didn't bring it.
Our latest product! Little people with faces that look like our characters! We've got all characters except Bob, Bed Monster, and Merlin.* Warning: choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under three years. Bonus: Thidwick comes with a blanket that is made from real fabric!

*We do not have these characters because they are not humans. Moe, Julia, Merlin and I tried to think of ideas, but we couldn't think of any good ideas, because Bob and Merlin have ears, but the human characters don't. Also, we couldn't think of any good ways to have Bed Monster's tongue hanging out, because if we just glued it on, it could come off, and if we just drew it, it wouldn't look good from the side. So I just decided not to do them. I wonder if they'll ever recover from being left out.
