Says The Kid Who...

I actually have no idea as to what sizes those The Cheat plushes are...and they're out of stock, so I never will.

Wow, We're Behind

Remember, Moe called it Iikutaat because his knowledge of the real name was blocked out.
I've started needing to use a different shade of green for Bob, since my old one had its last use in our 2000th post celebration.
And this strip marks the use of another new colored pencil - Prismacolor light cerulean blue! (It's used in the pool color).

Pulling the Ol' Switcheroo Again, Eh?

I was originally going to have this title be "Pulling the Ol' Switcheroo, Eh?" But then I thought I might have used this one before, so I checked, and indeed I had just over a week ago - word-for-word except for capitalization.

So now I guess this is a repeated title of Pulling The Ol' Switcheroo, Eh?

My brothers used to switch places a lot.

Oh Boy, A Double--No, This Is A QUINTUPLE Post!!

We have a new poll up!

Back to the drawing-board...literally!
Julia wondering about the name of the city and the "...or is it??" were later additions.
I deliberately swapped the colors of Julia's clothes. My dad came up with the general idea of most of it, except the last two panels. Did you notice that "Heidi Anna"'s Elisha disguise was just a wig?

These next two strips were ones I thought of on vacation.
This idea came about when I was just doodling without really thinking about what I was drawing. I tried mixing up some stuff in this strip. For example, the red targets in the first and second panels were colored before I drew the rest of the panel. Plus, in the first panel, the overall coloring was done before the outline was drawn. Moe's camouflage outfit and the "Master Blaster Deluxe" were new additions for the strip, not in my original sketch. I really enjoyed making this strip.
Finally, today's strip. This was also thought of on vacation, although it was based on a real experience.

He Really Doesn't Need Permission To Ask That! ...Does He?

I've had this punchline in my head for years. I rediscovered it very recently, and thought I'd better put it in a strip before I forgot it again. So I thought of a premise that would prompt Moe to say this. I wanted to do something with Thidwick and his blanket, which I hadn't done in a while.

Obsessions

I forgot to have Moe mention Nemo and his broom.

Brennan Took his Blanket...Again.

At first I couldn't decide whether to put Brennan or Bob underneath the box. I decided to use Brennan, since I haven't used him for about a month.

6/19/08

He Will?

I like how Thidwick and Bob think the same thoughts until the last panel.

Blanket-Hat

CAN WE PLEASE GET MORE VOTES ON OUR POLL?! AS YOU KNOW, YOUR VOTES KEEP I.W.M.A. RUNNING. BUT IF WE DON'T HAVE VOTES, WE CAN'T RUN I.W.M.A. ANYMORE!

Just kidding. But we really do want more votes. We're not trying to demand it, or being greedy, or anything, but we just don't know what we're going to do with a tie in our poll. So we need at least 1 more vote before it expires!

She Can't See!

I like this strip. Don't say a word about Thidwick's foot. I accidentally shaded it like Mama's feet.

I Glued It to my Hand

This was originally going to be a section of the first Moe movie, Moe and Thidwick, but I decided not to do that, and this joke became useless. But when it came time to draw it, I couldn't think of a good name and so I flipped through my sketchbook to find a good sketch and make a strip out of it. Luckily, I found this joke and I wanted to use it. So here it is. Oh, wait...you already read it, didn't you? Well, then...Here it was.

Many Items 2

The title is, of course, a repeated title of "Many Items". Do I have this thing for repeated titles, or what? In the original pile, Moe's pile included a blocking-screen thing that sent out a black ray of darkness so Moe couldn't see what was scary, so Julia's "Well...hear, mostly" line wasn't in there. Panel 2 wasn't in there, and at the beginning of Moe's line was "This?" Julia's line in the last panel was, "With a radio, duck and blocking-screen thing, other people can't see or hear!"

Blanket Keep-Under? Never Heard of It!

Actually, only the drawing was changed in the strip!
The title is a repeated title of "Blanket Keep-Away? Never Heard of It!" How do you think Moe got the blanket? Did he take it from Thidwick or something? :D The dialogue is exactly the same as it was with the original strip.

He Draws Fast!

Whoa. He made a mark in the air! Either that or the pencil drew on the panel. (Or both...)

Where Are the Borders?

I don't know why I didn't do borders. So, now that it's post number 300, it's taken me a little while (a tiring 15 seconds) to figure out what I should do. Then I took a picture of Moe, brought it into Photoshop, duplicated his head 299 times, placed them behind it (that took even longer...16.000000003 seconds, as I recall) and saved it for the web. Count 'em...there's 300.

Just so you know, in case you only counted 18, the one in the 0 counts, and most of the faces are obscured by other faces, which they themselves are obscured by other obscured faces. There really is 300 (Want more silliness like that? I got it from here).

Made by Sharker-Price.

Good grief, tomorrow's post is number 300!!! I'll have to celebrate by...getting 300 of...something...I gotta think quick...or talk to that smart Moe. Oh well, here we go.
Who's up there?
Do you really think it is becoming a running gag? Do you know what Moe's playing with?
Hello, Mister. I see you have a blanket. I, too, have a blanket, but I didn't bring it.
Our latest product! Little people with faces that look like our characters! We've got all characters except Bob, Bed Monster, and Merlin.* Warning: choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under three years. Bonus: Thidwick comes with a blanket that is made from real fabric!

*We do not have these characters because they are not humans. Moe, Julia, Merlin and I tried to think of ideas, but we couldn't think of any good ideas, because Bob and Merlin have ears, but the human characters don't. Also, we couldn't think of any good ways to have Bed Monster's tongue hanging out, because if we just glued it on, it could come off, and if we just drew it, it wouldn't look good from the side. So I just decided not to do them. I wonder if they'll ever recover from being left out.

Whoa Be Quiet.

This is the first time I've done two panels instead of one or three.

4/23/07

Is That a Wheel, or Are Your Legs Running Really Quickly?

How fast do you think he is going? In the original strip...

ALL: All panels had borders, and the style was different (duh).
PANEL 1: Moe wasn't running, and his dialogue was just, "Wait! I LIKE the blanket-hitting!"
PANEL 2: We couldn't see the hand behind Moe, and there was a period at the end of his talk bubble.
PANEL 3: "Oh be quiet" was all one word, "Ohbequiet," and there was a period at the end of the talk bubble.
