In a strange twist of events (or whatever you'd like to call it), I did this to my dad, instead of him doing it to me. It always takes me a little while to draw stuff in panels without borders. The reason? I always write the dialogue first, then draw the borders and talk bubbles. When I find myself using panels without borders, I always have to stop before I draw the next panel (if there is a next panel) and draw everything, even the date and blog address, if they're in that panel, like this one.
