Re-Introducing...

The title is a repeated title of Introducing...

That's The Most Obvious Shirt Caption Ever

Sorry about the recent lack of posts. I got behind again.
My brother came up with the idea for this one.

The Automatic Pie Thrower

Remember when I mentioned that Moe got a pie thrower in an older strip? I finally thought of a design that didn't seem to reference Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs! The light on the front was flashing red when Julia started moving. That light is the motion detector.

Where Can I Buy One Of Those?!

We are now selling the Thought Translator!

This strip was shortened to fit the format. When I was sketching this out, I just let the characters go where they wanted to go. This is my favorite way of writing strips.

Please Don't Kick Me

I like the idea for this strip.

Foreshadowing...

August 16, 2010.

Check the blog June 23, 2010 for more on this...er...mysterious product placement.

Death

Do you think this means that Moe's life, and therefore the blog, will end soon?

I sure hope not! I've been doing this strip for 6 and a half years now, AND I'M NOT ENDING NOW!!!

Even though I want to. But willpower overcomes want!

Willpower Overcomes Want...hmm...maybe I should make a T-shirt out of that!

The Pie Thrower

We're working on a design for our own Pie Thrower. Coming soon!

This idea was originally extended to what the Pie Thrower looks like, and how to use it, and the side effect that happens if a pie gets thrown on the machine. But what happened to the machine when a pie got thrown on it was kind of a ripoff of the movie Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, so I just used the opening.

Don't Crush the Tiny Camerabug!

Since the Prince Catsup Video Podcast isn't too far away, I thought I'd post a little teaser poster. This may give you an idea of what's going to happen.
Hmm...on June 23, 2009, King Mustard will send The Stick to a time-out, much to the dismay of Nerm, Moe, Thidwick, Bob, and Merlin.

Or maybe King Mustard is asserting his king-hood in front of Nerm, Moe, Merlin, Thidwick, and Bob by not letting The Stick be in the poster?

Comment on the post and tell me what YOU think is going on!

The Master Blaster!

One day I had the idea of a really aggressive-looking gun shooting either paper airplanes, or really tiny bullets. I thought it was so funny, I decided to use it here.

Just off the lines of I.W.M.A. products...the Master Blaster!
Not recommended for children under 3 years. Order yours fast, because they're flying off the shelves!

Pkeow?

The "volcano" is actually an upside-down funnel. Do you recognize the toys? They're from Sharker-Price, mentioned in an earlier post! Moe is playing with Thidwick, and Merlin is playing with Moe. This strip has an instance of inanimate objects coming to life. Look at the Thidwick toy in the last panel.

Because we released a new product, the IWMA ornaments, we've decided to add something: everybody who voted will get these! Here are the shipping times:

Well, after a six-month break, we finally have new products. They're mentioned in the strip.
A set of five...Dad, Heidi, Julia, Merlin, and Moe. Not sold separately.
Very fragile. Not for children under 3 years. That means YOU, Brennan! I thought I asked you to stay away from the Christmas tree...oh, sorry. I'ts just that Brennan keeps trying to grab the orna...*crash*...ooh, that didn't sound good. I'm going to have to stop now. BRENNAN...YOU LITTLE...

Whoa... Six Panels in a Daily Strip Again??

The title is a repeated title of "Whoa... Six Panels in a Daily Strip??" Moe is reading "The Magician's Nephew," the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series. The original strip went something like this: panels 1 and 2 were combined, and so were 3 and 4. Panels 5 and 6 were also combined.

PANEL 1: MOM: Let's go, Moe. MOE: Me? Go where?
PANEL 2: MOM: To the scary movie! (The panel was just like panel 2, except she didn't look mad.
PANEL 3: (same as panel 6)

And guess what?

Our latest product is Moe's pajamas! Actually, they're our first product that is free! All our other products were $3.50, but currently we're working on taking the cost out.

Made by Sharker-Price.

Good grief, tomorrow's post is number 300!!! I'll have to celebrate by...getting 300 of...something...I gotta think quick...or talk to that smart Moe. Oh well, here we go.
Who's up there?
Do you really think it is becoming a running gag? Do you know what Moe's playing with?
Hello, Mister. I see you have a blanket. I, too, have a blanket, but I didn't bring it.
Our latest product! Little people with faces that look like our characters! We've got all characters except Bob, Bed Monster, and Merlin.* Warning: choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under three years. Bonus: Thidwick comes with a blanket that is made from real fabric!

*We do not have these characters because they are not humans. Moe, Julia, Merlin and I tried to think of ideas, but we couldn't think of any good ideas, because Bob and Merlin have ears, but the human characters don't. Also, we couldn't think of any good ways to have Bed Monster's tongue hanging out, because if we just glued it on, it could come off, and if we just drew it, it wouldn't look good from the side. So I just decided not to do them. I wonder if they'll ever recover from being left out.

4/23/07

Yes...VERY YES!!

Did you know that the original version of this strip actually had Moe as a double-arm in panel 1? That means he had a sort of rectangle in place of where his arm would be, a fist on one end, and the pointing hand on the other end. And, guess what?

We are now publishing our strips in books! The design follows the "MOE" logo in those Sunday strips.
