Nice Try, Moe!

If you look closely at the thought translator, you won't see a line (representing no thought, or a silent sound wave) in the screen. If it's on, it'll be there.

We are now selling the Thought Translator!

This strip was shortened to fit the format. When I was sketching this out, I just let the characters go where they wanted to go. This is my favorite way of writing strips.

I'm Ready For Anything

The only problem with a drawing like that first panel is: where do you stop?!

My brother drew a drawing like that once, and I made a list of some of the things included in his drawing.  I also put in a couple of other random things, like a golf ball, pencil, and teddy bear. Then I included some things from I.W.M.A., like pizza, the Thought Translator, Queezy, Master Blaster Deluxe, and several of Moe's inventions.

Oh, Sneaky, Lily, Sneaky!

At first I was going to have Lily have installed a cloaking or disguising device on the Thought Translator and so it would turn into a ball. But I couldn't quite get Lily's line in that version to get right, so I changed it to this.

It's The Shrine of Iikutaat!

I had to start using a new pen (the same kind as the ones I bought a couple of months ago) for this strip, as you can see in the logo that the pen is starting to wear out.

Originally the last panel had Moe saying "Oh, sure, NOW you turn on your Thought Translator!" and Lily says "I don't exactly WANT my secret out, if you don't mind!" But there wasn't enough room for that, so I changed it to this.
