<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family:georgia;">This is kind of a strange strip, isn't it?</span></div>

Who is your favorite character?

There has been a poll going on in the blog recently, and I just got the results. (The color of each bar is the character's favorite color! How about that!)

So as you can see, 20% of the voters make up one vote. The guy with all the Legos liked Thidwick. The lovely lady with quilting, sewing and knitting being the only things on her mind couldn't make up her mind (probably because quilting, sewing and knitting are the only things on it!). The guys at P.D.o.G.U. decided that they all liked The Stick. Personally, my favorite is The Stick too! Choices not voted on were "Moe," "Merlin," and "Other". Don't worry, Moe will stay the central character!

A new poll is up now, so you can all give your opinions! Your results keep I.W.M.A. running!

That's a Pretty Detailed Map of Europe!

I had to trace over an actual map of Europe to get that detailed map of Europe. There was supposed to be a TM next to the word Google in panel 2. So, yes, I have had a visit from Germany earlier this month. I figured that out in my own Google Analytics.

Fire Truck Cake?!

This is a really strange strip, isn't it? I don't know how I came up with it.

7/28/07

The Wake-Up Machine

This came from a Garfield strip I remember reading. So, finally, here's another instance of inanimate objects coming to life, after a little more than a month.

|:-(

The page title is a face. It's mimicking Mom's face in the last panel.

7/26/07

Then Broccoli Must Be his Third Favorite Food.

Notice that in the panel where Moe is missing, I covered up the broccoli. The reason for this is the last panel. Strange...we never saw the light switches or light on other posts. The light seems to be four feet above her in the panel where Moe is missing, yet only one foot above her in the next panel.

7/24/07

That's a Lot of Kernels.

Next to pizza, of course. Oh, man! I forgot to draw one of the kernels missing in the cob in panel 2. The one missing should be the one Kristene is eating. Whoa, am I already up to my 400th post?! These are going faster than I thought!

7/23/07

I Want /\/\oe Attention RestXraunts

I like drawing Kristene's detailed house. Do you suppose that "restaurant" is misspelled on the cup on purpose? Nope, that was a goof. "Restaurant" is one of the rare words I have trouble spelling. "Biscuit" is another one. So are "plane" and "plain," sometimes. The last ones are from some complaints/compliments I got from Jeff. I had to blue-line Moe in the last panel to get him right. But in the sketch, the straw wasn't on his nose! I put that in just before I drew him in pen.

Moe's translation in panel 3 is "Okay, that was unnecessary. So I guess you don't like it?"

Another Double-Post

Yesterday's strip...
Today's strip...

About the "busterine" in panel 3, I was trying to think of "buster" in feminine form.

7/21/07

Sick Day

Due to artist illness, the ever popular "I Want Moe Attention" web comic will be temporarily on hiatus.

7/20/07

IS It His Imagination? I Don't Think So.

This is an actual Celine Dion song, and this is actually (I'm guessing) my mother's favorite part of it. GOOF: It's barely noticeable over the words, but in the middle panel, Mom is missing the little dot on her nose. So Moe was hiding behind the stereo? I think it might have fallen over if a real kid was leaning on it.

7/18/07

Dirty Words? Find Out Now!

The title is an instance of "find out now." Which had an amazing record of TWO previous posts!! :D

7/17/07

I Like Those Sound Effects!

Oopsie, the bottom part of Dad's hand isn't moving. What is Moe leaning against?

7/16/07

Again, I Was Just Thinking About the Description Earlier Today!

The title is a repeated title of "I Was Just Thinking About the Description Earlier Today!" Did you know that, in my original strip, we could see Moe's face in the last panel? I decided to do this after I drew the banana peel slipping over Moe's head. I figured, instead of having it disappear into Hammerspace (thin air), why not have it hand on his face? And it adds an extra joke (kind of) to the strip.

???? 2

Now I would NOT like that at all. I don't like water on my face.
"Oh, Moe, I forgot to tell you, all the presses of the water dispenser are delayed 5 seconds. We haven't figured out what's wrong with it, but we'll figure it out soon." Good grief. What do you think is wrong with it? Oh, and by the way, the title is a repeated title of "????".

7/14/07

The AppDelete Virus

Do you think it's really possible for AppDelete to delete itself? And if so, do you think the computer really would explode?
Ahh, it was "I Want Moe Attention." So here's another instance of destroyed computers. I liked drawing Dad in panel 5.

7/13/07

Here's iWantMoeAttentionCo Again!

Hey, they changed their logo! I mean, WE changed OUR logo! It has Moe on the O in MOE, just like the logo! Where do you think they're going? Maybe they are going to iWantMoeAttentionCo, they just missed it.

7/12/07

Pea You!

7/11/07

Life Under the Sea

So, I've been wondering why I had his name "Joe the Jellyfish." Then I figured it out (like, as I was typing this): it must have sounded good. By the way, there is an index title "Mistakes/confusion" and "Silliness" because we don't know if he was confused, or was just trying to be funny. I was originally going to change this in Photoshop to make it look more like water, but I changed my mind, because the words became illegible.

7/10/07

I Was Just Thinking About the Description Earlier Today!

Something I've always admired in comic strips is how characters can do things like pop their own talk bubbles or take away their own hair (an example of this is shown above ↑), and act as if this is perfectly normal.

7/9/07

It Must be Hard to Scratch His Head!

The index title "Inside strip (fourth wall breaks)" doesn't lead to this post, even though Moe bonks the border of the middle panel with his head. Here's another example of a double-bubble, which the first one was in "What If I Were Week, Part IV".

Hey, He's Just Kidding!! Ugh...

The title is a repeated title of "Hey, She's Just Kidding!! Ugh..."

7/7/07

The Sneezy Sneezer, Part II

Here's another instance of Moe fainting. Speaking of running gags, we haven't seen inanimate objects coming to life recently. At least, that's what it feels like...the last time was on June 24, 2007. So, the W kinda gives it away...if not, what do you think it will be? Maybe it will be "Iw! Moe is Gross!" But probably not. I spell it "Eww". So, remember the sneezy sneezer gag near the end of 2006? This is like Part 2, as shown in the headline. Like all silliness, this came from my dad. The long line of long-lost posts will end this week. But here, they're only semi-long lost. Because these other ones I did when I started it (2003 or 2004), but these ones will be from early 2005. Whew! I think that's enough.

7/5/07

Big Space

Man, this week is full of fourth wall breaks!
How do you think he got back in the panel?

7/4/07

Long Dialogue

The title is a repeated title of "Changed Dialogue"...sort of. The last "panel" is kind of like the dialogue in panel 3 of "Lotsa Words" and "Here we Go Again...". I did the long dialogue so I could scan it right, not too short, and also so you could know where the edge of the strip is.

7/3/07

I'm Wanted!

Hey, Julia's pose is kind of like her new pose in Introducing Julia, isn't it? We've never seen their answering machine before! Mom probably got Julia to call Moe because she's probably the loudest in the strip! Do YOU think she's the loudest in the strip? And it almost looks like Moe is floating! I guess I drew him a little too high.

7/2/07

Mom Can't Find Moe!

So, the last half of Moe's comment doesn't work if you print out the strip. But since the image is so big, it probably wouldn't work on one piece of paper. If I worked on the strip, it would fit on that one paper. But it seems like it wouldn't work on one piece of paper if you tried to print it. This isn't really strange. You know why? I'll give you three choices:

1. Pixels are not actual size, in fact they're twice as big as they are on paper.
2. I scanned the strip at 200%.
3. It's an optical illusion; it really DOES work on paper.

Answer: 2

Fa-Ree!

It was a challenge to make the panel intelligible without the border. By the way, the "Long-Lost" strips will end next week.
