Did you know cartoon erasers are different from real erasers?. You know that if you draw something with a pencil, and then move an eraser over it, it...well, erases it? Well, since they're drawn, they can be erased. But erasers in the Cartoon World are more different then that. They don't just erase pencils...they erase everything!

I.W.M.A. is sorry for the late post. The creator (Riley) is a little sick, but now I'm feeling okay enough to post today's strip. If I'm still not feeling good tonight, tomorrow's strip will be a little late.

Just so you know, tomorrow's strip may be delayed a little bit. Did you noticed I changed the release date? This is because we need more than two votes. Uh-oh, they broke a Cartoon Law! Like I said yesterday, C.P. stands for Cartoon Prison.

By the way, C.P. stands for Cartoon Prison. Heidi doesn't like what she's hearing...does this mean she's trying to tell him that she's maybe changed her mind, without really telling him, or something?

Are They Stuck?

Wait a minute, cartoons revealing themselves to real people is against the law in Cartoon World? Whoa. I guess this explains why nobody ever sees a cartoon in the Real World...or does it?

By the way, in the Cartoon World, it's proper to capitalize "Cartoon World" and "Real World."

Did you know that cartoon light is a little different from real light? Well, it is. You all know that when light shines on one side of you, one side is darker than the other, and on the darker side, a slightly squashed or stretched silhouette (or in other words, your shadow) is on the ground, beginning at your feet? But in Cartoon World, when a light shines on one side of anything, the entire object lights up (even the side that isn't facing the light), and it looks like he, she, or it is on top of some kind of black puddle! Cool, huh?

So, now Heidi knows that's Merlin. Oops, I forgot to color Merlin in panel 2. How do you think they're going to get their passage back? Will they be stuck in the real world forever? Or will they return home safely? What do you think will happen next?

What's a Gho?

The most eagle-eyed people will notice that, in Photoshop, I enhanced the whiteness of the quilt. Look closely at the spaces between the panels and the talk/thought bubbles. Each pixel is a slightly different shade of gray, right? Now look at the quilt. Each pixel is pure white, the same color as this text. The enhanced whiteness wasn't used in yesterday's strip, because I didn't think of it when I scanned that strip. Now what do you think Merlin's thinking in the last panel?

That Must Be Warm

He's coming up with something, I know it by the "hmm" he thinks. Because he's so cold in panel 1, Merlin's talk bubble is shaded blue slightly, because isn't that the color of ice?

Remember Moe Predicts? The latest one predicted that Merlin's adventure would be the next February-March story. Well, here's the beginning of the story! Did you notice the "copyright" in story panel 4? That's a new thing. I've been wanting to do that since 2008 began.

What should we do with our new logo on June 23rd this year?

I.W.M.A. has downgraded its logos. The new poll looked too P.D.o.G.U.-ish.

The Illustrator problem is still going on, but I.W.M.A. somehow managed to get our poll created.

Well, it looks like we've got some pretty interesting results. Because the majority of votes were on redrawing Moe and unchanging it, looks like we're going to change the logo! We'll redraw Moe, copy it it Photoshop, make it all gray, squish it, skew it, and turn it all around! This will give the illusion of a shadow.
