What's your favorite February-March story so far?

We've got a new poll! It's ending a month after I.W.M.A. Day.

He's Texting

We're nearing our 1600th post!

I promise, we will post our new poll today.

I think Moe took Mom's cell phone to try to get Julia in trouble.

She Obliged

The poses of everyone else are the exact same positions from this strip.

5/29/11

But She Doesn't

The Zimbabwe line in the opening joke is a reference to this strip.

5/28/11

Charlie's Drooling

The title is almost a repeated title of He's Drooling.

5/27/11

Lily's Wearing Sunglasses!

This is my second rendition of this strip. I messed up on the drawing on the first one. I can't do white-out on my drawing, because if I do and color on it, it smears. So it was necessary for me to completely start over.

At first, Moe was going to say everything in the last panel. But I thought I'd give Julia a say in the matter.

The last panel took a couple of re-writings to get right.

Did Cynthia Really Do All That Stuff? Find Out Now!

You know, I think I'm a "find-out-now-oholic."

This is the first time I've used "find out now" in a post title more than once in the same month!

I came up with this idea last Friday, and I just couldn't lose it. I still can't believe I managed to hang onto it for this long.

Cynthia Has Longer Hair Now

Ah, the moment of truth.

5/22/11

Apparently, You Say Hi

So Michelle's sister's name is Cynthia. My dad suggested it because the first syllable is "SIN," relating to all the mean stuff she did to Michelle as a kid.

5/21/11

She's Extremely Sarcastic

I was planning on doing something involving Michelle getting back at her sister. Or maybe how, when Michelle told her parents about what her sister was doing to her, they'd ignore it, but when Michelle did it back, they wouldn't ignore it. The idea eventually evolved into this.

Moe's Getting Ideas...

My brother came up with the punchline for this strip, too.

5/18/11

She's Gonna Blow!

Wow. That must have been an extremely difficult childhood.

My brother came up for the punchline for this one.

I'm Having a Hard Time Thinking of a Post Title Today

In case you're wondering, that's an alligator, not a crocodile.

Also, this is the fifth time I researched an image of a real animal to make a cartoon version, after the quick brown fox, Nerm, Nemo, and the raccoon.

5/16/11

That's Pretty Extreme!!

I apologize for the late posts; both for today, as well as for the last three days of last week (although, those weren't my fault; Blogger was having a post editor issue).

The image of Michelle's younger sister was originally drawn as an older Lily.

5/14/11

Sister...?

So Michelle had a sister. And from the looks of her face, I don't think she had a very good relationship with her when they were kids.

5/11/11

Did The Cartoon Bore Them All?

Julia probably wouldn't be too happy if she heard Mom calling her a kid.

5/10/11

Music! ...Oh, That's Not It?

My mom said this once while we were on vacation, although we were in a motel at the time (not in the car).

And even Charlie's trying to watch the cartoon!

5/6/11

Is It Fun? Find Out Now!

The title is, of course, another instance of "Find Out Now!"

5/4/11

That Explains A Lot

Remember my old poll from last year as to whether the announcer for the 2010 Urchin Collectors' Gathering (and, therefore, Nemo's and Bubbles's dad) was a fish or merfish? Well, I finally decided to show the results.

5/3/11

R.I.P.

5/2/11

A New Look

The main reason I did the redesign is because I didn't think the way I was drawing them looked right. By the way, they're wearing seaweed. I was trying to make it look like a variation of a one-piece bathing suit, but it ended up looking a little more like a tank top.

Not that I'm complaining, of course. I still think it looks okay.
