Shouldn't He Be Tanned in the Second Panel?

Ultraviolet actually tans us, and infrared light is heat!

What is Transgreen?

Sorry I'm late! I can't wait until the scheduled posting is back up!
"Transgreen" will be explained in tomorrow's strip.

The main reason I did black in the first two panels is, amazingly, I did not feel like drawing when I drew this!!

The V-Cube 6! (Some Assembly Required)

Sorry for the late post. I'm used to the Scheduled Posting, but it's not working; so I have to post them from scratch. Arrgh!

Happy IWMA Day!

Today's I.W.M.A. day, so everyone's wearing orange.

We'll be doing blog updates later today; as well as our (late) 1000th post celebration.

One Thousand Posts

1000 posts. Wow.

For my 1000th post, I will be...well, since it's so close to June 23rd, I'll just do it then.

The reason the 2005 and 2007 pictures aren't colored is because the original pictures weren't colored in, either. To make them look A.S.A.P. (as similar as possible), I traced over the original pictures with my lightbox. The pictures of 65 million BC and 1 million BC weren't real pictures, I just drew them from scratch for this comic (as I did for the 2009 picture). But I drew them the way I would have drawn them when I was a kid. To emphasize that even more, I colored those two pictures with crayons. Then I colored the 2003 & 2004 pictures with twisty crayons, where you twist a knob at the end, and the crayon comes out the other end. And then, I colored the 2006, 2008, & 2009 with colored pencils. The dinosaur for the first "evolution" picture is supposed to be a Parasaurolophus, because of the little curve in the top of Moe's head. I decided to do the Evolution of Moe for my 1000th post in my comic strip, but that isn't the real celebration. The real celebration is...

MY PODCAST IS FINALLY GOING TO BE RELEASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, happy 1000th post, I.W.M.A. And here's to 1000 more! Let the party begin!

(twooot)

Well, Hello, Mr. Hypocrite!

Here's something you might find interesting about Moe's line. The majority of his line was written with my thick Sharpie pen, with the exception of the line under the "or." That was written with my thin pen. I just moved it back and forth to make a thicker line. It's pretty visible, because my Sharpie is starting to fade a little. You can see that the other lines are getting translucent.

He's Drooling

There will be more "parenting tips" in the future. They are not meant to be a true aid to parents, even though they CAN follow the advice if they feel it necessary. I just put them in here to be humorous. As of last Saturday, I have thought of three other "parenting tips!"

What's Moe's Time, 7 Minutes and 36 Seconds??

The official world record for solving a 5x5x5 cube is actually one minute and 13.22 seconds! Thidwick even beat the world record! That must be even more devastating if Moe knew about that!

How Did They Capture Bed?

The way they eat something upside down is they turn him upside down, and fill him with cereal, as if he were a bowl. Because, in the original story, the newspaper editor actually WAS a bowl!!

What is Mustardia?

Happy Flag Day to our U.S.A. fans!! The first flag we see is a play on the International Red Cross, or whatever it's called. For the Moe-lympics flag, I took the normal Olympics flag and changed the circles to Moe heads. And also, instead of colored outlines, I colored the heads in. The United Cartoons flag is a play on the United Nations.

!! WARNING !! SPOILERS

You may be wondering what Mustardia is. Look at the side of that panel. It has the web address of the Nermia podcast blog. So, it has something to do with that...

What's With the News??

I've started doing the different perspectives again. I think this gives it a slightly more 3-dimensional look in the reader's mind. Or, at least, mine.

6/7/09

To Dream, Or Not To Dream

The original strip wasn't like this at all. The original strip had Moe looking around at the objects that proved it wasn't a dream.

Attack!!! With...Um...Deadly...Bananas...of Doom...

We were going to release a toy banana gun, but we just realized that little kids might mistake it for a real banana, and try to eat it. Yeesh! So we just scrapped the idea completely.

What on Earth Kind of Armor is THAT?!?!

What is that armor?! Dad has a pan for a helmet, and his weapon is a hammer! Merlin has a strainer for a hat (so his ears can poke through) and a squirt bottle for a weapon! Moe just has a bowl for a hat and his weapon is...yes, it's a spoon.

I wonder what would happen if one of them had the Master Blaster as a weapon...

I'm thinking about creating a separate blog for our...er..."products." This will mean I have to keep track of four blogs!!!

Who Are the Ten More People?

We're getting so close to our 1000th post (one thousand exclamation points) We should do something a little different than just showing 1000 of something...we should do something SPECIAL!!!

Heh, heh, heh, I know what it is and you don't!

6/3/09

Thank Goodness Love ISN'T a Disease! ...Is It?

I don't think I drew Moe's face in the last panel right.

6/2/09

How Does He Speak in Hearts?

The rainbow-colored sunset came from one of my observations of one. However, a sunset appears in my podcast, and that was animated before my observation. I need to change it! To me it looks like a rainbow turned on its side.

How DOES Moe talk in hearts? Probably the same way Heidi talks in paw prints.

How Did He Get in There...um...The Toilet?

This is a repeated title of How Did He Get in There? How do you think Moe got into the toilet? The original story actually told us how, but I cut it out, to leave it to the reader's mind again. When I first drew this, the first panel wasn't specific enough. The word "toilet" wasn't in Heidi's line. The addition of that word explained why Moe was all wet. Why was Moe in the toilet? Let me know what you think!
