Pressed For Time One More Time (I Hope)

The title is a repeated title of Pressed For Time.
This strip is a reference to Wordgirl.
Thanks for the Fill In The Blank suggestion, A113-Dean! Now suggest your own ideas for the original strip!

Pressed for Time

Immediately after this year's Feb-Mar story (the trip to Iimojj), you kind of remember in the back of your mind that Moe and Julia have had their memories wiped–as time progresses, though, you start to lose that feeling. I decided to attempt to bring it back here. I'm probably not going to have them remember their identities, though.
I was a little pressed for time when I made these strips, so I didn't blue-line them on half the paper. Also, I switched today's strip with tomorrow's to make it faster to draw.

And, I have to think of a new color scheme for Squeaky, since my old pencil I drew him with is gone now.

Where IS Everyone?!

The flag in the corner is the Springton flag I've shown in one other strip.

Sorry About the Double Post.

We've decided to put into permanent (-ish) use the digital coloring (Sundays only) and the blueline on half the paper.

This Is I.W.M.A., Not The Far Side!

Using this style allowed me to, if I wanted to, draw more detail in the strip.

DIGITAL'D 2!

I had to work from a MacBook Pro on Mac OS 10.8, and the Photoshop and Illustrator on here added a TON of complexities to making the strip, so it took me nearly an hour to make just this. I swear, I could have drawn it by hand in less than ten minutes!

I don't think I'll be digitally drawing the strip ever again. I may just stick to coloring it digitally (actually, I may not even do that all the time; maybe just on Sundays).

Oh, and the title is a repeated title of Digital'd!

I Think I Like the Digital Gradient Look!

Seriously, I think I like the new look (in the last panel).

Does this mean my colored pencils will be out of a job?

Fill In the Blanks

Fill in the blanks of the characters and post them in the comments; make sure you keep panels and characters distinct. You could separate each character dialogue with quotes, and each panel with a slash; just do something that would make sense.

Super Pets

The original strip my brother came up with (my brother came up with not only the idea for these strips, but the actual strips too) made a reference to the reaction Mimigas had after eating red flowers, from Cave Story.

That's A Lot Of Bricks

I was thinking about doing a calculation as to how many Lego bricks you would really need to build a life-size Sun, but decided not to.

Anyone care to figure that out?

ZRMC Apocalypse

When I started drawing this strip, I knew that the zombie robot mutant cat picture should be the cat in one of my older comic strips I stopped a while ago (named George). I realized too late, though, that I shouldn't have drawn his pupils...if I hadn't, I think he would have looked more like a zombie robot yadda yadda yadda.

This theory gives a new idea for the theory (for lack of a better word) of the zombie apocalypse!

This Isn't Rocket Science!

My brother came up with the idea for this, except it was known as "The Universe And Future According To Cat." I changed it to "Rockat Science" because I thought it was catchier.

Ultimate Sneakiness!

If you recall, Moe's InvisiRay makes you not only invisible, but mostly insolid, too. It appears that you can control which parts of you are insolid, otherwise Moe wouldn't be able to pick up Julia's paper.

Playing the Blame Game, Huh?

I bet now Moe wishes he had asked Tom not to come near ANYONE with his red paint.

Beret Girl

A little while ago I was thinking about introducing a character that always wears a beret. Also, I was trying to think of possible last names for Tom, and Foster was one of them. I suddenly thought of the name Katie, and how Katie Foster seemed like a really good name. Then I did some sketches of my beret girl and realized that she looked like a Katie Foster (I then had to make sure there weren't any extremely famous people with that name). I then knew Tom's last name had to start with something that would come soon after Foster, and Hadley was suggested. So, now we have a Katie Foster and Tom Hadley.

Also, this is my 2012th post. It's not exactly cause to celebrate, but that's this year.

He Spoke Too Soon

I think the main reason I do school strips is to show either Daniel or Tom (well, not actually "show" him, but you know what I mean).

9/5/12

Clever, Very Clever!

I realized a little while ago that I never show Julia's school (she goes to Springton High School).

9/4/12

And the Tide Goes Out

I did do a sketch showing the moon in the Jones' backyard, but I knew beforehand I wouldn't be putting it in the strip. So I guess it was just for my own comic pleasure.

And actually, Tom has been in Moe's school for at least two years now (maybe three, as hinted by his first mention).

9/3/12

But Actions Speak Louder Than Words

I was trying to find my ideal "skin color" with my new beige colored pencil in this strip. That's why Moe's skin color changed in the second panel.

9/2/12

What If It's Still Exceptionally Long in 5D?

I colored the negative space between the universes a combination of my new beige and my new light cerulean blue (I used blue due to an experiment I heard about once where a guy never told his daughter that the sky was blue and then asked her what color it was).

9/1/12

They Keep Saving the Research!

I just realized this is actually the first time Moe and Julia have been discussing this topic without ever actually mentioning the Golden Twinkie.
