How DO You Bunt?

Do you think there's any reason that Moe and his coach are both wearing red? Actually, there is. It's their team color.

More Mutation

I was originally going to have the title be "Mutation," but that title was already used. I guess this would make it a repeated title.

Life Is Like...

As with my previous Rubik's Cube strips, I colored the cubes using real cubes. But, unfortunately, I didn't have a 6x6 with me when I made this strip. That's why we can only see one side of it.

He's Not a Wiener!!!

There was going to be another hot dog strip where Bob saw that he was eating a hot dog, and asked if it was Merlin. But it was too much like yesterday's strip, so I didn't use it.

5/26/10

Murderer?

Oh, great. Now I have this huge craving for a hot dog...mmm, hot do-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-og...

New Shoes

The original sketch for this strip had Thidwick saying, "They're a bit big, but..." I changed the punch line because it makes it funnier.

5/18/10

Hooochhhkhhkk...PTOOEY!

I can't even remember how on earth I came up with this. I like the phrase "long-range spit" for some reason.

5/17/10

The Tooth (insert noun here)

This is an old sketch from my old sketchbook, but the dialogue was slightly different. I changed it so it'd make more sense.

5/16/10

Inverse World

I tried to make Moe look a bit more scared in this strip. What do you think the dog-turned-human version of Moerlin could be named?

5/15/10

IWMA Conversation Day

The main reason I made this strip is so that I could put several conversations into one strip. Like I did with this strip and this strip.

I've memorized over 40 digits of pi. But I won't tell them all. Just the 40 that Kristene and I have both memorized:

Foreshadowing...

August 16, 2010.

Check the blog June 23, 2010 for more on this...er...mysterious product placement.

5/13/10

Jump Jump Jump

My original sketch just had Merlin and Bob. In fact, Merlin was still doing the same thing he's doing here. I added Thidwick and Mama/Sally so it could extend into the long single panel.

He REALLY Doesn't Know Anything About Modern Technology.

Whenever I have a scrambled Cube in my strip, I have to use a real cube to make sure the colors would be possible on an actual cube.

5/11/10

I'd Pick 3up.

I tried to make the first three panels as much video-game style as I could do. I think I succeeded. What do YOU think?

5/10/10

Vertically Challenged.

By "vertically challenged," Julia means short. The reason I picked Julia to use this strip is because she's 15 and the same height as Moe. Her 8-year old brother.

5/9/10

H-Py M-thers D!

I wrote this strip backwards. Except for the opening joke.

Michelle and Sally are wearing the same colors in their outfits. Just switched around (i.e. Michelle's shirt color is Sally's pants color, and vice versa).

STAIR...er...STARE!

The title is a repeated title of STARE.

New poll coming soon!

This idea came from a comic character I once created, called KoKit. She, like Genghis Kute, can back off anyONE...not just an enemy...by staring into their eyes for at least one second.

I think Genghis can see through closed eyes.

5/4/10

Oreos

The idea of Oreos falling from the sky came from a comment from an old post.

5/3/10

Jeones Fours

Genghis Kute. I like that.

Merlin's caption is supposed to say MUTATIK Merlin, not MUTATK Merlin.

POC stands for Plain Old Charlie.

What do you think the announcer of the Urchin Collectors' Gathering of 2010 is?

Presenting Moe's Tricks

I've had the last panel sketched out for about 10 months now, so I thought I'd use it now.
