(sarcastically) Oh, Yeah, He Really Blends In Now!

Did you notice any changes in his clothes in the last panel? Besides the fact that they changed color? Yeah, his colors are more prominent now. That's because I recolored them, restoring the colorful quality. But the rest of Dad is still misshapen. That's because I didn't redraw his entire body, I just recolored everything. Don't ask how. That's one of the things I like to do: leave some tiny details to the readers' imagination.

I need to think of a good April Fool's Day joke! I only draw the strips a week early, you know. Not two and a half months like other cartoonists.

His Clothes Blend In!

Starting with the second panel, to make him blend in a tiny bit more, I not only continued coloring the background into his clothes (instead of lifting my pencil and continuing), I also drew the horizon line where his shirt meets his pants.

Is He Reading From a Script?!

I was originally going to have him say "Line?"

Four/Five Months since What?

If you don't know what they're talking about, you'll find out tomorrow.

That was Plan A?

They're not faking the fact that they're losing quality.

You'd think that, since I'm drawing the strip, they'd regain their quality. But this entire story is supposed to take place before February 22. So, February 21? Maybe?

Welcome Back to I.W.M.A.!!

To make it look like everything's losing quality (except the stuff in the Real World, the bubbles, borders, and me), I drew it with my left hand. To add to the effect, I even colored it with my left hand!
