That's a Heavy Present
Wow, I...didn't really realize that 17 kilograms was actually almost 37.5 pounds when I did this strip...maybe I should've stuck with "17 pounds" like in the original sketch.

Eight Beat Panels In One Strip...
I figured this may also work in a daily strip, due to the HEAVY amount of beat panels, but I later reasoned that making it a Sunday made it funnier, as it displayed the length of the staring contest better. Also, I think Lily's hair got longer near the end of the second row.

Catch Up Part Six (Almost Done!)
This strip was really easy to draw.
It took me a while to think of the line in this strip, which I originally wanted to start with "Sometimes I wonder...", but I couldn't get that to sound right, so I later changed it to this.
This strip took forever to shade.

I've had the idea for this joke since April. But it might have been a bit more awesome if it was in its own post...
I've had the idea for this joke for years now. I decided to bring it back and update the dialogue a bit so that it would fit the strip of today.
Every time we see Lily, I try to give her bow a different color.

Lily Plays Bejeweled Blitz Endlessly
I've never played Bejeweled Blitz, so I couldn't actually say anything about the game. All I knew about it was that you could play it on the computer, and it involved points.
Needless to say, this will be the only 5-word strip subject.

The sound in the second panel is supposed to be that combination "blah" and spitting noise that babies make all the time.

All of these Bignose strips were written out of order. I just started with several originally unconnected Bignose strips like this one; once I decided to link them together in a basic storyline I had to write out the ones that I still needed (still out of order, by the way).

Happy Leap Day, everyone! I would do a special Leap Day strip if it weren't in the middle of my February-March story. Grr...

She Really IS a Super Genius
With an IQ of 152, Lily would be classified as a "genius" or "very superior." So if her IQ was bigger than that, it seemed only fitting to change "genius" to "SUPER genius."

Hey, Who Forgot To Split Up The Double Post?
I put in the last panel later on, because I thought it would add a sense of foreboding to the strip, changing the mood of the end from "Ha ha!" to "Ooh..."
