Gross Cookie?

This came from my brother. I pretended like I had the "only good cookie" that my mom made. I'm not exactly sure if Dad said "Sam-I-Am" in the real joke. Lots of parts from the real joke were cut out between panels 1 and 2 to fit the panels.

About the "busterine" in panel 3, I was trying to think of "buster" in feminine form.

Again, I Was Just Thinking About the Description Earlier Today!

The title is a repeated title of "I Was Just Thinking About the Description Earlier Today!" Did you know that, in my original strip, we could see Moe's face in the last panel? I decided to do this after I drew the banana peel slipping over Moe's head. I figured, instead of having it disappear into Hammerspace (thin air), why not have it hand on his face? And it adds an extra joke (kind of) to the strip.

Life Under the Sea

So, I've been wondering why I had his name "Joe the Jellyfish." Then I figured it out (like, as I was typing this): it must have sounded good. By the way, there is an index title "Mistakes/confusion" and "Silliness" because we don't know if he was confused, or was just trying to be funny. I was originally going to change this in Photoshop to make it look more like water, but I changed my mind, because the words became illegible.

Under Construction

Wow. I wonder where the mailbox learned to sing? So, "say goodbye to just Moe." What do you think he means by that? The original was two dailies:

PANEL 1: Like drop panel, only we can see mailbox. MOE: It's 1:00. I want to spend today with Mom.
PANEL 2: Same as panel 3 expect Mom is running to door.
PANEL 3: Same as panel 4 current
PANEL 4: Mailbox wasn't alive and Moe was kinda smiling.

PANEL 1: Like panel 6 current, except Mom was facing Moe all the way, mailbox wasn't alive and Moe said, "Open it up and see!"

I Glued It to my Hand

This was originally going to be a section of the first Moe movie, Moe and Thidwick, but I decided not to do that, and this joke became useless. But when it came time to draw it, I couldn't think of a good name and so I flipped through my sketchbook to find a good sketch and make a strip out of it. Luckily, I found this joke and I wanted to use it. So here it is. Oh, wait...you already read it, didn't you? Well, then...Here it was.

Moe Predicted Correctly; The Enemy DID Reveal His Name!

The dialogue, starting with the words "My name is Jocken Fred," are supposed to be heard in the rhythm of "We All Sing With the Same Voice." I did the sketching out for this months and months ago. But my calendar for 2006 was all filled up, and I was in the progress of planning out January's strips this year, but for some reason, I decided, "Nah, I'll wait until a little bit later." Finally, I found a spot. This was the day I got another new pen. I didn't want to waste too much space, so I drew a picture of Moe and Merlin in the background. And, look at it again in all three panels...it changes! Another extra joke! It also almost follows the same joke of the main strip, because in the last panel picture, Merlin ends up "pow-pow-powing" Moe. And, one more thing. Moe has black pants on, just like the enemy. Do you suppose his shirt is red, too? Because Jocken Fred's shirt is.

Goood Grief 2

I believe this came from my mother. Julia's "Man," in panel 3 wasn't originally in my sketch. Julia's expression in panel 3 was less mad.
