All right, here's a list of new stuff we did for I.W.M.A. Day 2012:

Also, we put up a new Flashback Comparison the other day.

Originally, there were two votes for fairy/pixie/sprite. I changed it to one because both votes were from the same person, just on different devices.
I think this says a lot about our viewers. Um...for one thing...no one wants to be a faun/satyr, giant, mermaid/merman, or merfish.

Flashback Comparison #6
This next Flashback Comparison is quite unrelated to any of the previous ones. It is the origin of my idea for the S alien; I later decided to transfer the ability to an alien instead of a human. It was a one-time thing; no other strips I ever did mentioned this ability/curse.
Man, that's one giant sock!
I think my snake looks more like a worm here. Plus, Moe now makes Julia stiff on purpose; you can tell from his expression in the last panel of the second strip.
I thought it'd be funny of, instead of saying it all fancy, he either didn't say it and made her wait forever, or took forever to say it. It's a lot more like the current Moe to make her wait.

His Toes Are Clenched In The Last Panel
Originally I was going to have Moerlin's first line be "...gives me a combination Moe/Merlin personality," but I changed it to this because I had since learned what "amalgamation" meant, and I thought it would be interesting if Moerlin referred to both of his personalities in the third person.
And yes, his hind toes are clenched in the last panel.

It Hasn't Been 13 Times
Technically Moe's only really woken up as Moerlin 7 times (I'm counting this and this as the same one now because of this strip and they have a very similar ending); none of the other times were real (they were dreams, movies, thoughts, etc.). But there have been 14 individual Sunday strips about this (not counting those as the same one this time).
I was thinking at first of making his name be some combination of Jocken Fred and Bed Monster (maybe Jocken Bed), but then I figured it could be Enemonster. Maybe that's what I'll call him later.

Flashback Comparison #5
This fifth Flashback Comparison is unrelated to the previous two or three. It's a single this time, inside the same notebook the first Moe strip ever was written on the back of.
I was considering eventually using this in my regular strip, but then I realized I couldn't because every February 29 is in the middle of my February-March stories. I later realized, what better way to show it than in a Flashback Comparison?

A Cut-And-Pasted Note
The digital letter took me forever. Mr. Bear is actually a stuffed animal I used to have until his arm fell off.
Also I wasn't going to have Moe say that the letter was from Julia at first, but then I figured it would be a little vague, so I put in his "It's from Julia" line.
