Apparently, He Doesn't Know that Moe Doesn't Like That.

This came from my dad again. He wanted the root beer, which was in the refrigerator. It seems the only way for him to get it was to do this to one of my brothers (thankfully, not me). That was last year, near the end of October, I think.

Oh, Great...

I gave all the I Want Moe Attention characters some fortune cookies, and do you know why? Because this is actually the day I started doing these strips daily, so I've been doing that for a year now! This came from my dad.

Whoa... Six Panels in a Daily Strip??

This is actually one of my most recent sketches. The original date I would have put it, would make it spring. My next thought was to just wait until 2008 started, but I thought, "Heck, why would I need to make it another year?!" So I switched dates and put this one on this date and the other one on the date I would have put it. Because it's usually cold in the middle of winter, isn't it? And the labels on the fire fighter's hat and suit say, "I Want Moe Attention Fire Department."

A Pink Background Again? That's...um...Not Really New...

The title here refers to this post, which also had a pink background. You see, Moe Sunday strips only have pink backgrounds if they have 11 panels. If the Sunday strip has...
  • 6 panels, I just do the first 6 colors that I pick out, because I do them randomly.
  • 7 panels, I do red, orange, yellow, green, blue (sky blue), indigo (blue, actually), and purple.
  • 8 panels, I do all colors I have, except brown and black (red, orange, yellow, yellow green, green, sky blue, blue, and purple).
  • 9 panels, I do all colors listed above in parentheses , plus brown.
  • 10 panels, I do all colors from if I have 9 panels, plus black, which makes it all colors I have.
  • 11 panels, I do all 10 colors I have, yet in panel 9, I'll do pink, which I do just by doing red lightly.
  • 12 through 18 panels (maximum for my strip), I haven't thought of anything for either of them. Maybe I'll do the colors (not black or brown) lightly.

Also, even though Julia started to be a friend living in Moe's house, but now I'm considering that she could be his older sister. And, judging from the date and age in her flashback (2000 and 7), Julia is 14 years old.

I Am.......... what?

Man, that must make Moe really mad. It seems Julia and Dad both knew this was going to happen, judging from Dad's half-closed eyes and Julia's smile in panel 3.

Another Day, Another Strip, Another Silly Thing that Moe's Dad Does

"That's the problem with holding your foot up...no matter how hard you try (or don't try), you can't faint.

Makes You Want to Think About McDonald's, Doesn't It?

...or some other hamburger place? (That, by the way, refers to the title, not the strip.)

Tongue Twister! Or, Wait, is it Tounge? Or, Wait...

This all came from a little piece of cheese I had. I said, "I'd like some cheese, please." My dad noticed it rhymed, so he threw in the words "knees" and "trees," so it was now, "I'd like some cheese in trees on my knees, please." Then my mom added the word "fleas" and a couple other words that I can't remember. Anyways, this is the sentence as far as I can remember it.

Hop, Hop, Hop...

This came from my little brother. He did this, and it was so hilarious to me, I just had to put it in my sketchbook. Eventually I found a strip to go with it.

Hey!

Wow, I'm glad I came up with this after my blog began! Whenever Moe is near Thidwick, he wears these clothes, to make him believe that these are the only clothes he has, like he mentioned in this strip. If you look closely in panel 6, you can see Moe's hand...er...tip-fingering over to Thidwick's blanket.

Julia Wants More Attention

This is what it would look like if Julia had her way; even the font and the borders. And, did you notice the URL of the blog? Try typing that in and see if it's real or not! This was one of Moe's tricks on Julia in one of my strips before the blog.

Since this is my 200th post, I've decided to celebrate again...

The original dialogue for the last panel was, "Is this a dream?" I don't really know why I changed it to this instead of, "I must be dreaming!" And now, for the celebration...

I had to talk to the whole gang this time. I discussed what we could do for my 200th post, and somebody shouted out, "HAVE 200 FIREWORKS!" I said, "Fine, that would be great." So here they are.

This is Getting Annoying!!

Whoa, did you notice that she even changed the blog URL from "moeattention.blogspot.com" to "julianattention.blogspot.com"?! What do you think the next one says?

Changed Dialogue

The original dialogue was, "At least, can't you just donate one strip to me?" But then, I found out that would be like repeating it, so I changed the dialogue to this, partly so she doesn't repeat herself, and partly to annoy Moe more.

I Did?

Some times this week, you may see some new handwriting, like the "cartoonist decided" in panel 1, which is really the actual writing stretched out.

Just a Big Mistake

Good Night

Whoa, that "Moe" on his shirt must be an entirely different material. Either that, or it's a magic perspective shirt. Why? Because the sides of it change in panel 2. Now we know what colors Moe's non-polka-dotted pajamas are! Julia's hairstyle in panel 4 is actually the old style...I'm still getting used to it. The original sketch for that panel was to have Moe pulling up the covers. Like a lot of things, this came from my dad. You know, I've never been able to understand why some cartoonists make the background color of the same room a different color in every panel. Yet, I've only avoided it one time in this strip. I found out that I hate it, so the next Sunday I got back to different colors in every panel. Anyway, I've finally found out the answer to that question as I typed this...it must look good to the cartoonist who's doing it. Either way, it looks good...usually.

Moe Predicted Correctly; Julia's Hair DID Become More 3D!

It took me quite a few sketches to get Julia's new 3D hairdo right. I almost wrote some words that said, "Oh, wait...it's you" in the panel 4. That was whited out, as you may be able to tell. Judging from the last panel, either Moe thought Julia was his mom, or he thought it was a different person he didn't know, or he was just acting like he didn't know she was Julia. What do you think?
