NOW What's With the Hair?
The title is a repeated title of What's With The Hair? This strip evolved pretty slowly. I was originally going to have something where Elisha's ponytail-holder thingies were stuck to her hair. Then I had the idea that her hair would be stuck in the two-ponytails position. I can't exactly remember how it evolved into this.

(Raises His Eyebrows Several Times)
I was going to have Moe slap his dad with a hymn book, but I thought it would be good if I left that panel out. Here, I did something different, too. The punch line is in the second panel. Dad just continues to be silly in the third. It would have worked with only two, but I think the third panel makes it a bit better.

Catch! Drop! Catch!
I got the idea for this strip after watching somebody actually do this in a kickball game. In another kickball caught it, dropped it, and then caught it again. But then he dropped it again and caught it a third time. I didn't use that.

Do you think there's any reason that Moe and his coach are both wearing red? Actually, there is. It's their team color.

I was originally going to have the title be "Mutation," but that title was already used. I guess this would make it a repeated title.

Life Is Like...
As with my previous Rubik's Cube strips, I colored the cubes using real cubes. But, unfortunately, I didn't have a 6x6 with me when I made this strip. That's why we can only see one side of it.

There was going to be another hot dog strip where Bob saw that he was eating a hot dog, and asked if it was Merlin. But it was too much like yesterday's strip, so I didn't use it.

The original sketch for this strip had Thidwick saying, "They're a bit big, but..." I changed the punch line because it makes it funnier.

Jump Jump Jump
My original sketch just had Merlin and Bob. In fact, Merlin was still doing the same thing he's doing here. I added Thidwick and Mama/Sally so it could extend into the long single panel.

He REALLY Doesn't Know Anything About Modern Technology.
Whenever I have a scrambled Cube in my strip, I have to use a real cube to make sure the colors would be possible on an actual cube.

By "vertically challenged," Julia means short. The reason I picked Julia to use this strip is because she's 15 and the same height as Moe. Her 8-year old brother.

I wrote this strip backwards. Except for the opening joke.
Michelle and Sally are wearing the same colors in their outfits. Just switched around (i.e. Michelle's shirt color is Sally's pants color, and vice versa).
