???? 2...I Mean 3

The headline is a repeated title of both "????" and "???? 2". I like this joke. I think Julia thought Mom meant it literally, because she held up a smiley fruit snack up to (or on) her nose. Happy new month. (Can you believe I first posted that message a year ago?!)

Why DO We Need Tickets?

This is another mention of Silly Putty Adventures. Soon, somebody is going to mention Silly Putty Adventures 4. Check out the mentions of Silly Putty Adventures 1 (two links) and Silly Putty Adventures 2 (also two links). I just figured something out. I won't have enough time to take pictures for 20 Silly Putty Adventures, so all the "series" will be different versions.

Silly Putty Adventures coming soon.

Moe Reads Garfield?

Why doesn't it seem right?
I thought the same thing one time, because I did this thing one time.

8/28/07

Grammer Improper?

By way, I did have grammar improper in the strip not on accident. Also here too.
I think I made Moe a little too fat in panel 4. One time I actually considered doing this. Thidwick's eyes were actually meant to be closed in panel 4. I guess I forgot to white it out and redo it.

8/27/07

Hair-Raising?

I actually made this joke.

Um, How Do You Give Time a Speeding Ticket?

Yes, they did take their vacation to P.D.o.G.U. three months ago. I actually did this to my dad a month after our vacation I mentioned early in June.

8/25/07

Man, He's Fast!

So, the first part of his running fast-training was in this strip. Then he started running on four legs, then on two. Then he started holding a rope attached to a driving car and riding on a skateboard. Then he did it with only one foot on the skateboard and running with one foot. Then he took off the skateboard and just started running. Eventually in this stage, he let go.

Who the Heck is Dressed?

I wonder where Dressed lives. I wonder how long it took to have Moe get her? I like her hair. In the original strip, Dressed had her arms out, and her "nice to meet you" comment wasn't in there. I like how Moe is hunched over in panel 2. Aw, man, I forgot to put the "smoke" on top of Mom! Do you ever think that that could be a replacing of swearing? Jiggity jiggity jiggity jiggity. Sorry, I get all worked up (sort of) when I even hear the word "swearing". Jiggity jiggity jiggity jiggity.

By the way, I bet you have noticed my poll isn't exactly 2 weeks, but it's close enough.

What was the silliest of dad's silly moments?

So, it looks like the "dessert" incident (37%), which had 3 votes, is the most popular Dad Silliness Item!

By the way, I switched to a pie chart for better understanding.

How Does He Get His Teeth Clean with a Broom?

Why is he brushing his teeth with a broom? Doesn't that, just, get more germs on his teeth? Mom's original line in panel 2 was, "No, No, Moe! With a toothbrush, not a broom!" Her hands were fists. Hey, there's that light on the ceiling again! Actually, that was to try to correct a mistake I made.

New poll and results coming soon.

8/23/07

Bugged-Out Eyes 2

I like the middle panel. Especially.
The headline is a repeated title of "Bugged-Out Eyes!" This is the first time we see a person faint with toes! How did Moe carry that bath (and the end of it, too!) all by himself? How did he even get it out of the bathroom? Man, that last panel is filled with questions!

Update, 9:25 AM: The poll is about to expire!! Last time we had FIVE votes, this time we only have FOUR! WE NEED YOUR VOTES!! Unless you already did vote. C'mon! Vote! Your votes keep I.W.M.A. running!!

8/22/07

Ugh

Merlin is in Moe's pile of books. So is "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone." In fact, I just barely finished reading the book when I got the chance to put it in a strip. When I found the chance, I snatched it immediately! I like how Moe's feet are crossed. I think Moe's original line in panel 1 was "Ugh...". That's where the title of this post came from.

8/20/07

How Does He Stay On The Ceiling?

Say, what DID happen to gravity?
GOOF: Moe's first line has an extra "E" in the word "sweep". Originally, the broom was going to have a Marzipan design on it, since she looks like a broom, but since one doesn't exist, I decided not to, so I whited it out. I like Moe's pose in panel 2. See? No feet without toes. I told you would begin to stop seeing feet without toes! Moo hoo ha ha ha ha haaaaaa! Have you noticed I've changed the shadows a little bit on the ceiling? That's because you can actually see a light on it. Speaking of the light...there's a shadow above the light?! I don't remember doing that at all!

No, I Don't Mean Make Make Your Bed, Just Make It!

These, like last week's strips, I came out with in 2004 or 2005.

8/18/07

Is It Really That Hard to Choose a Cookie?

If you look for it, you'll see a little bit of an early FoxTrot-ness to it. No, I did not use my ruler for the rows in the cookie. Moe's eyes are crossed in panel...9! Oh my gosh! Did I really use 14 panels?! Wow. Actually, this came from what I did one time, although I didn't take the one my mom reserved for my older sister...because I don't have one. I'm the oldest child in my family.

8/17/07

Dinosaurs and Humans

I like the connection between the last two panels.
This joke was originally WAY different. It wasn't really all that funny. Panels 3 and 4 were a single panel:

PANEL 1: MOE: I didn't eat your scrambled eggs.
PANEL 2: (Julia is pointing to Moe and Moe is leaning back.) JULIA: You did eat my scrambled eggs!
PANEL 3: (different shot, only Mom is visible, pointing behind her.) MOM: The time-out should teach him not to eat a dinner that hasn't been finished, and to play dinosaurs non-stop.

8/16/07

That Must have Hurt His Ears.

I think it's funny that the T-Rex can't reach his ears.
The original joke didn't have the T-Rex plugging his ears. Moe's original line was "Huh?" Because of tomorrow's strip, I changed it. Do T-Rexes really have ears? Let me know, because I don't...yet. Julia's head looks kind of low in that last panel, doesn't it? I did that on purpose...sort of. Did you know that the scream in panel 2 is exactly the same as it was in the original joke? Well, it is!!

8/15/07

What is He Eating?

What do you think he is eating? We will find out tomorrow. I like how the dinosaurs/humans are reversed when it switches to dinosaurs. Like, in humans, dinosaurs don't exist, but they know about the past. But in dinosaurs, humans don't exist, but they know what's going to happen in the future. I wonder how?...

8/14/07

What Game? I Think You Know!

The triceratops's original line in panel 2 was, "I can't stand it any more!" I know Julia says "your" mom, but they are siblings, and she is referring to her own mom too. Man, that T-Rex is fat!

8/13/07

Will Moe Really Eat Julia?!

Another dinosaur strip.
Do you think Moe will really eat Julia like he did in the dream?! I hope not!!

AAA! Dinosaurs!

I like the T-REX. I like that, even though he only has two fingers, he still somehow manages to turn them into a fist. There were actually many versions of this strip. This is not a recent one...I came up with it two or three years ago. (2004 or 2005).

8/11/07

In Progress (Sort of) Version 1.2

I like the drop panel joke. In case any of you were wondering what the joke was, you're not missing it at all. That IS the joke. Moe is doing exactly what I told him to.

8/10/07

I've Never Heard of That Phrase!

Okay, I have GOT to add this silliness to my poll.

Speaking of my poll, I'm going to have to change the poll closing time to 2 weeks from now. Changing it only one time each month seemed to be too time-consuming. Keep voting! Your results keep IWMA running!

Update, about a minute later, I just realized I can't add this to my poll, but I can change the closing. So I will in about a minute.

8/9/07

Gross Cookie?

This came from my brother. I pretended like I had the "only good cookie" that my mom made. I'm not exactly sure if Dad said "Sam-I-Am" in the real joke. Lots of parts from the real joke were cut out between panels 1 and 2 to fit the panels.

8/8/07

The Sink Exploded?

I wonder how I came up with this strip? It doesn't really make much sense, does it? I like the shading I did in panel 3. This is another one of the rare times we see Mom's ear. The other times are here and here. That doesn't really look like an explosion, does it? I tried to put it into my own style, but it just looks like a bunch of lines. That's because I put too much explosion and clouds in it.

8/7/07

How Does He See Where He's Going?

That wasn't very nice.
I like this strip. I can't remember how on earth I came up with it! So without standing on his toes, Moe would be the same size as Thidwick. You notice I've started drawing toes? Well, I'm going to try to keep doing that. Pretty soon, you're never going to see feet like Thidwick's again! Moo hoo ha ha ha ha haaaaaa!

8/6/07

YOW!

That must be painful.
The first panel is a picture of Merlin chasing Bob. Thidwick is poking his head in and is saying, "MERLIN! What on earth are you doing?!" As hard as it was to get the overlapping in the last panel right, I did not blue-line it. I hope you didn't read your cat this strip. Your dog may enjoy it, but your cat may give us spam comments if he sees it, so cover it up if your cat walks by. I liked drawing the border around the "warning" in panel 1. I also like Moe in that panel.

Too Much Spaghetti?

I like this strip. But during our vacation, I didn't really do it...one of my brothers did. This was only one of the responses. I can't remember the other fake questions. By the way, I've noticed that only three people have voted on my poll! For easier voting, I'm going to see if I can add links into the options. If not...I'll just link in my results.

8/4/07

In Progress Version 1.1

So, this kind of shows who does what. Mama draws this strip (and I think she is very good at it). Apparently, she's drawing herself drawing the strip! Dad and Mama are the best draw-ers in the group. Merlin has the best eyes. To give him a little help, I've put "make up" or the page number of the sketchbook it is on in the day. This is actually the real setup for last month (July 2007). Read the May 9, 2007 strip and you will see this is the actual blue-line for all the panels. I even mention it!

8/3/07

The Sleepover

So, this is what I like to do. I don't like sleeping with someone else (although I don't sleep with my dog, mainly because I don't have one), so during our vacation this is exactly what I did. Merlin in the last panel wasn't originally in my idea.

8/2/07

THAT'S Gas?

I got the idea for this strip on our vacation, getting gas. I know gas isn't really a liquid, but I drew it like this so we knew it was coming out. Ahh, there's their Moe Attention license plate again!

8/1/07

Is It Already my 400th Post?!

I had to think a little bit to get a good NITM for this. Again, since this is my 400th post, I am going to celebrate. Moe decided we needed a spot to archive all our strips. The bad news is:
...it was on Julia. Here's a bit of trivia for you: the text underneath the sketch at the bottom says "August 07 NITM!" I had no idea that would BE the 400th post!
